1 On Sunday, Round 2 of the Young Rider was first up The final day saw bright sunshine thankfully for the four in Ring 2 – and the Tekna Saddles Selection Series titles up for grabs – and great competition for all four. class. The class was won by Evie Buller (WA) with Toni The juniors were first with Sam Tripp on Flowervale Scattergood (Vic) in second place, Birdie Hansen (NZ) in Diamond winning the class – but Jess Knox winning the third place and Sarina Jurkiewicz in 4th place – the only title on Night Wish. NSW rider to place in this class. The Young Rider Final round was second up, with Evie Round 2 of the Amateur was won by Clare Watkinson, Buller and Toni Scattergood being the top two qualifiers with Bonnie Martin in second place and Troy Johnson, for the title after 2 rounds. Mon Barrett won the class Vicki Brighton and Clare Watkinson making up the minor on Deo Juvante from Jack Erickson – but Evie Buller won places. the Young Rider title with Toni Scattergood Reserve Champion. The final of the D Grade Championship saw the top 30 horses from the first two rounds, and 11 on zero penalties The senior title was next – and whilst Jamie Winning going into the jump off. The class was won by Daniel won the class on Yandoo Laughton’s Legacy, her Yandoo Engbers on Millpark Tuesday from Jess Tripp on Kings Team mate, Jono Berry won the title on Yandoo Quincy Z. Loyal Subject. Wonderful to see Quincy come back after a long injury lay off so well. The last class in Ring 1 on Sunday was the 2nd round of the Senior Championship – and was won by Jono Berry from Jamie Winning. Well done Team Yandoo. Jono was the leading combination after the two rounds for the final on Monday. In Ring 2 on Sunday, the 2nd round of the junior title was held, and won by Evie Buller on Yalambi’s Corlandia from Jess Knox, Jack Maunder, Izzy Stone and Maddy Smouha Ho. Evie was the leading combination for the final. 1) George Johnson and Wondaree Sprite won the second day’s 1.30m class sponsored by the Tripp Family 2) Yandoo Mystique and Clare Watkinson 3) Copabella Cadiz and Dave Cameron 4) Jamie Winning and Yandoo Laughton’s Legacy were the winners of the Equestrian NSW Senior Championships Final 2 5) Chook! 76
