1 2 3 2011 National Championships – Werribee, Our top results consisted of: Victoria Runner Up Primary Dressage Team – Sydney Evans, Rachael Raheb, Sarah Olsen and NSW sent a huge team of 90+ competitors to Werribee in Matilda Seppelt October. We were fortunate that the worst of Melbourne’s Runner Up Secondary Jumping Team weather was experienced the week before at the PCA – Stephanie Davies, Mimi Tym, Philippa Kallus-Lawson Championships rather than the EA Championships as and Jake Hunter Victoria had also experienced issues with stabling. Champion Primary Showman Team Despite some last minute changes to the team and the – Sarah Olsen, Macey-Rose Malone, Emma Farncombe fact that we were quite spread out which wasn’t ideal for and Matilda Seppelt state morale we had some wonderful performances by Runner Up Secondary Showman Team our team members with many placings. – Stephanie Cormack, Hannah Phillips, Claire Guiver and Tess O’Connor Champion Eventing Team – Maddison Kidd, Georgia Leva, Hannah Phillips and Georgina Mutton Champion 45cm Primary Showman – Sarah Olsen Runner Up 60cm Showman – Stephanie Cormack Runner Up 110cm Jumping – Stephanie Davies Runner Up Introductory Eventing – Hannah Phillips Runner Up Preliminary Eventing – Georgia Leva Champion Pre Novice Eventing – Maddison Kidd Overall the NSW team finished Runner Up Champion State Team behind the host state and narrowly beating Queensland. Representing your state is one of the ultimates and becoming part of the team is hotly contested. In 2012 the Interschool Committee 5 hope to streamline the selection process and also team members will have opportunities to attend training clinics which should help team morale. The 2012 National Interschool Championships will be held in Queensland while in 2013 the championships are set to move to the West for the 4 first time ever. 60
