Success in sport is not about one player, it is about one team, and that is exactly how I saw the Junior School this year, one team that comes together as a result of something deep inside of them which makes them champions in their fields. These past few months have not been different. In AFL we were fortunate to have fiercely contested by all four Houses, Ogilvie taking out James Dunlop make the CIS Team which is a first for the the swimming, Owen winning the cross country, Southwell Junior School and in Football we were represented in CIS winning the athletics, Owen stealing victory in extra time by Noah Chia. for the Fr Schneider SJ Cup and Ogilvie winning the internal chess competition. The Fr Joseph Dalton Trophy for Water Polo the winning Junior School House was presented to Owen Lucas Anderson received the medallion for Combined Ias an additional summer sport for boys in Years 5 and 6.
