It is clear in colour and available in a 300ml cartridge. Uses x Suitable for form in place gaskets x Adhesive and sealing applications Features/Advantages x Excellent UV and weather resistance x Good chemical resistance to most organic and inorganic chemical, solvents and oils x Adheres well to most substrates including metals, glass, ceramic, rubber and timber. x Good electrical insulation properties x Non-slumping. Instructions for Use/Application Instructions The following should only be used as a guide and the installer should apply all Australian Standards, BCA/NZBC requirements, and best practices when installing. x Surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and flaking paint. If necessary clean with degreasing solvent such as mineral turps. x Cut nozzle supplied at an angle and to the required opening. Cut end off nipple on cartridge, fit nozzle and insert in suitable caulking gun. x Apply sealant in a continuous steady flow through the line of fasteners. Push sealant ahead of nozzle keeping sealant within the overlap. x Assemble and fasten joints as soon as practical. Avoid trapping air. Avoid squeeze out of sealant on to surfaces that are to be painted. Most paints will not adhere to this sealant. x Remove excess sealant immediately with a cloth dampened in mineral turpentine. Cured sealant can be trimmed with a sharp blade. Avoid undercutting the seal. Technical Data/Properties Contact Selleys before using this data for the setting of specifications.
