Nitocote PUR Steel Primer Part-A and Part-B should be thoroughly mixed individually prior to combining to ensure a homogeneous material. The combined components should be thoroughly mixed using a mechanical mixer at slow speed or for at least 3 minutes. Application Nitocote PUR Steel Primer should be applied at the rate of (mixture of Part-A & Part-B) 0.14 litres/m². It can be applied using an airless sprayer, brush, or phenolic resin core roller. Allow Nitocote PUR Steel Primer to become tack free before applying the coating. Recommended surface temperature should be greater than 10°C and at least 3°C above the dewpoint. Nitocote PUR Steel Primer is very sensitive to heat and moisture. Higher temperatures and/or high humidity will significantly accelerate the cure time and pot life. Use caution in batch sizes and thickness of application. Equipment Cleanup Equipment should be cleaned with Solvent 10, immediately after use. Storage Nitocote PUR Steel Primer has a shelf life of one (1) year from date of manufacture in original, factory sealed containers. Limitations „ Not UV stable. „ Surfaces must be dry, clean and free of foreign matter. „ Containers that have been opened must be used as soon as possible. „ Nitocote PUR Steel Primer is difficult to clean up after it has cured. „ Do not dilute Nitocote PUR Steel Primer „ Mix no more material than can be used within 45 minutes. Warning This product contains Epoxy Resin and Curatives.
